Following the success of the recent murder mystery play Truth Will Out, penned by local writer Lauren K. Nixon, SLT are currently working towards producing a low-key review show designed to showcase the various talents of our members.

This is open to both existing SLT members and newcomers, so if you wish to be involved please come and attend one of our Tuesday evening workshops at the Kirkgate Centre (7pm – 9pm).

Our main shows for this year are:

Mythical Creatures – a puppet production for Saltaire Festival in September 2019.

Collected Grimm Tales – A dark adaptation of the original Grimm fairy tales by Carol Ann Duffy and dramatised by Tim Supple. Coming November 2019.

Carpe Jugulum – Our biggest show to date, based on the book by the venerable Terry Pratchett. We’re aiming to produce this for Summer 2020.
